(say this like Mario underground nana nana nana!) Blenheim, Blenheim, Blenheim!

I think this goes down as Top Garden’s thus far. I love the garden’s in England, my sister warned me that I would never be the same after seeing them. So true! We started our tour outside, first the mile long green manicured lawn…where we played like kids at a playground! Ah, it was so nice of the sore feet-sies to go barefoot on the plush grass…like the putting green on a golf course, carpet-esk! We jumped around and laughed layed down and did lawn angels…It was so nice to just calmly walk though the gardens and enjoy just how amazing and green and lush England is. Next was over to the “Secret Garden”. My favorite garden at Blenheim, with the moss covered stream meandering though the beautiful greenery, with interesting trees and plants…I’m a bit of a plant dork, working for Travis and Melissa at the nursery has ruined me forever! It was perfect for several…okay like a hundred pictures…us on the bench, us at the casibo, us on the tree! My new camera has definitely gone to good use here! I could just live their, every inch of everything green and beautiful with burst colorful flowers Across the perfect lawn and onto the garden of roses…can you smell it, hundreds and hundreds of roses! Ah, little Grammy H. would have loved seeing and smelling all the beautiful roses. The garden overlooked a majestic pond, with small fishing boats dotting water. Yeah, I was itching to jump in…then we headed to the fountain garden, framed by the beautiful yellow stone of Blenheium house and constructed by the massive bushes of hydrangea flowers. The old soul in me has always had a thing for Hydrangia, and here in England, they know how to grow them! Palace…house…huge structure-Blenheim! This is the home of the Duke of Marborough and the family of Sir Winston Churchill, rooms that the man himself was born in and took his first steps in and later honorably controlled an army in. The inside was beautiful, but sadly didn’t quite live up to the splendor of the exterior. by this time I was dragging so we didn’t take the tour though the upstairs…save something for next time. I did find a great British Cookbook that I’m really excited about! We headed into town Oxford, home of the University also named…Oxford, good class! We strolled though town a little and onto the train home. Bus, Train, Metro, Tesco…Home! Tesco’s are these great little mini markets that have the basics, we just happen to have one on our way home, so we stop their every time we pass. I always seem to walk out with a 1. Mint Aero Bar 2. An Almond Danish 3. Crunchy Bar 4. Hob Nobs. English Chocolate= Love…and big booty!
